Lefteris Xanthopoulos was born in Athens, 1945 where he studied law but never took his degree exams.
Λater ηε went on to study cinematography in England, at the London Film School. He has seven books of poetry and two books of prose published. He has directed more than forty films of all kind, feature, short and documentaries. His latest work on film include the doc Take the gifts (2012) and on writing the collection of short stories Cats elsewhere (2011).
